Dotsie Bausch of the Colavita/Sutter Home Women’s Cycling Team presented by Cooking Light captured the gold medal in the Women’s 3000 meter Individual Pursuit at the Pan American Championships in Montevideo, Uruguay.  Dotsie finished fourth in the time trial behind Kori Kelly Seehafer (wife of Colavita/Sutter Home Women’s Team Director Sportif Jack Seehafer).  Colavita/Sutter Home’s Tina Pic was the top finisher (9th) among US women in the road race.  Teammate Iona Wynter Parks, representing her native Jamaica, finished in 14th. Dotsie’s win in the individual pursuit qualifies her for the UCI Track World Championships in Poland in March 2009.
