Tina Pic Races for a Cure

Sutter Home Winery and Blue Competition Cycles, sponsors of the Colavita/Sutter Home Women’s Cycling Team presented by Cooking Light, are partnering to support research that will put an end to breast cancer.  In addition to the bicycles supplied to the Colavita/Sutter Home Cycling Teams, Blue has produced a specially-designed pink model for Tina Pic to ride throughout the 2007 season.  

For every mile that Tina races, Sutter Home Winery will donate $1.00 to City of Hope, a leading research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.  As a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Care Center, City of Hope helps patients manage and ultimately conquer cancer, and helps set the standard for cancer care throughout the nation. For every race that Tina wins, Sutter Home Winery will also donate an additional $1,000 to City of Hope.  The Pink Bike program is an extension of Sutter Home Winery’s Capsules for Hope program, which encourages consumers  to return specially-marked tops of Sutter Home wines.  For every seal received, Sutter Home donates $1.00 to City of Hope.  Co-title sponsor Colavita USA is also a partner in the Capsules for Hope campaign.
