Iona Wynter Parks is one of the most accomplished athletes racing in the North American women’s peloton.  A former Olympic triathlete (she represented her native Jamaica at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney), Iona is the Jamaican Pursuit record holder, Central American & Caribbean Scratch Champion, and currently ranks 9th in the world in scratch.  In road racing, she’s achieved numerous top 10 finishes while delivering teammate Tina Pic to countless victories and podium appearances in NRC events.  A former French teacher and swimming coach, Iona enjoys reading, movies, and traveling to far-off places.
