Two-time ABA National Champion Shontell Gauthier began BMX riding in 1981. Following a strong season with the Canadian team Ultralink, which included a podium appearance at the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix, Shontell joined the Colavita/Sutter Home Women’s Cycling Team.  Her strong work ethic, race experience, and powerful field sprint will make this graduate of the University of Louisiana a cyclist to watch this season.
